About Veronique

Veronique is a French-Norwegian artist based in Hong Kong. Born on the west coast of Norway, raised in Togo, educated in France and now living in Asia for more than ten years, Veronique has explored many countries and cultures, which are her source of inspiration. Fascinated by the icy cold northern landscape, she is also passionate about dancing and colorful ethnic patterns, all reflected in her paintings. She discovered her talent as a young adult after surviving a horse-back riding accident which nearly left her paralyzed. She is mainly using oil painting with palette knife.

Artist statement

I believe painting is the primary expression of our feelings, and this incredible colorful place where there are no rules to follow and no limits to how far your imagination can travel. I wish to share this calming and healing activity with as many people as possible.
