About Travis Ying

Ying Man Hon (Travis) is part of the post-80s generation who was born and raised in Hong Kong. He has completed his studies and received a Master of Fine Arts Degree with a concentration in theatre stage design from Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 2015. After being a full-time secondary school teacher for 7 years, he took on a new role of being the so-called "slashie" to continue bringing inspiration with his expertise in illustrations and graphic design, theatre design, arts education and performing arts. Travis is devoted to visual arts and has created his very own one-of-a-kind style of hand lettering－ applying bright colors and pop art elements. His work is highly inspirational and puts an infectious knowing smile on everyone. In addition, Travis created a lively character named “The Chatties” to spread everyday bliss in our lives.
