About Fiona Mok

我曾經與死亡擦身而過, 深感活著並不理所當然，所以，生命是我主要關心的主題，探討的是生命本身所承載的獨特性以及故事性。作品以繪畫為主，我喜歡繪畫的簡單和真摯，以繪畫過程去紀錄和感受生命一些被忽略的細節。我的作品亦強調人與人的交流，藉一些真實的故事發現生命的痕跡。通過與作品對話，希望可以與觀者一同喚醒生活的細部。

Having experienced the edge of death, I realize that life should not be taken for granted. Therefore, I am interested in discovering the uniqueness and stories that lives consist. My works are mostly drawings, I love the simple and genuine nature of drawing, through drawing process, one could observe and reveal the negligible parts of life. Also, narrating signifies my artworks, I love listening to different people’s stories, and thus telling those stories in different ways. That makes communication and relational experiences an essential part of my artworks.

Through my artworks, I hope audience could go through an awakening journey with me, discovering what life actually consist.
