About Anita Cheng
Anita graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, B,S.SC(HONS) in Journalism and communication. She became a journalist and editor after graduated. Then she studied Advanced Diploma of Fine Arts in CUSCS. Start from her childhood , she loves animals and thinks that their lives are as precious as human being.
Recent years Anita is interested in Buddhism and parallel universe. Therefore she uses Buddhism culture & symbols as ingredients in her works.
Anita loves imagination, her artwork ideas come from day dreaming and daily lives she observes.She thinks that if people open their heart to accept, we can find more aspect of life.
關於鄭潔恩
鄭潔恩畢業於香港中文大學新聞及傳播學系 B,S.SC(HONS)，及後於中文大學專業進修學院修讀西方藝術高級文憑課程。從小到大喜歡動物，認為動物的生命價值與人等同，故作品多與動物有關 。近年喜歡研究佛學及平行空間，故部份作品以佛學文化/ 新時代為創作元素。
創作上喜歡從幻想出發，在腦中編織出不為人知的空間。認為世界無限，有看得見(有形)及看不見(無形)的空間，故不要只被眼前之境所限制，把心拓展至能容納非我族類或小眾的，便會發現生命的眾多可能性。
Artist Statement
Anita doesn’t like too much planning as she thinks that creativity and ideas always come from the moment you are relax and she likes to start an artwork in improvisation manner.
The artist thinks that there are no particular rules and definition to make and define art. Start from our babyhood life, we have been inputted many rules from our parents, school and society. Such kinds of rules will burden our real inner self to expose, and we don’t know what we are, as a result we always have a “lost” feeling during our life. An artist must deconstruct those rules that being applied to themselves. She needs to use her heart to feel and touch the world, then transform her feeling into artwork.
She thinks that the process is more important than the result, the sparkling fire and muse arise from the creativity process is the most valuable things that art gives to everyone. The enlightenment arises form art will stay in the artist's heart whole life.
創作理念
喜愛即興與隨機。 藝術是表達自己的一種媒介，透過創作，可與自己的內在、身邊的人與事、以至宇宙連結，轉化思想與生命。
進行藝術創作並沒有特定準則。人們被強行灌輸了不少約定俗成的規範，這些規範蒙蔽了個體的真本性，藝術家必須把從小到大於社會及文化中承襲的枷鎖慢慢除去，用心去感受世界一切，才能看清楚並瞥見真正的自己，表達於作品裏，做出屬於自己的藝術。
過程比結果重要，創作使人津津樂道再三回味的 ，總是那些過程小節及人與人之間交流所產生的火花與啟發。
