About A Yip

Yip was born and raised in Hong Kong. He finished studying graphic design and illustration in 2000 and started working in a magazine. Yip’s interest in web and animation has also led him to become a web designer in 2005. In 2007, he joined the Hong Kong Society of Illustrators and collaborated on the design project of "Noah Ark" in Ma Wan, Hong Kong. In the same year, he started showing some of his illustrations in cafés (e.g. Kubrick) and hotels. Through time, Yip has developed his own drawing style and has shown his illustrations in various magazines.

He is currently working as a freelance graphic illustrator and web designer.

Artist Statement

Yip was born and grew up in Hong Kong. He finished studying in graphic design and illustration in 2000, after that, he had worked in a magazine and started to develop his own drawing style and shown his illustration in different magazine.

Yip also interested in web and animation so he turned into a web designer in 2005, after 2 years, he became the member of Hong Kong Society of Illustrators and joined a design project of "Noah Ark" in Ma Wan, Hong Kong, at the same time, he started to show his illustration in cafe, Kubrick and hotel.

After finished the Noah Ark project, he is now a freelance illustrator, graphic and web designer.
