About Lau Lonely Siu Chung
LAU Siu Chung, born in 1990, is a young artist concentrate in oil painting. In 2014 graduated from Hong Kong Baptist University Academy of Visual Arts. His paintings mainly focus on his living environment, which represented by strong brush strokes and intense use of color. Currently, he is in JCCAC studio to continue artistic creation in painting.
Artist Statement
The Feelings about my living environment is always my creative source of inspiration. Living in a crowded city, Hong Kong, daily walk the road in a hurry is a profound experience. Again and again when the experience repeated, memories rendered images like a photo under long-term exposure, little dreamy and blurred untrue. My painting is a mixed living memory, the overall feeling for a single presentation.
