Illustrator Lokz Phoenix was born and raised in Hong Kong. She studied graphic design and she worked in a fashion company for 6 years before she began her career as an illustrator in 2013.
Lokz Phoenix’s illustrations are oddly somber. Her work, with both monochrome and monotone sensibility, is interjected with bright pops of colour. She works predominantly with watercolour.
Her illustrations have been published in publications such as Obscura magazine, Ming Pao newspaper and Bite me magazine etc. She has cooperated with Alliance Français (Hong Kong), Lane Crawford, Melissa, Jo Malone, initial fashion company. Her collection “Tous à poil” is on sale at Galerie-Treize-dix in Paris and her zines have been sold at bookshop Ofr. and Yvon Lambert (Paris).
